I find that amazing… don’t you always get the flowers first on your side of the water? My plum trees have almost finished blooming, and the tulips are just coming out.

Amazing grape hyacinth photo! I haven’t seen any yet. It looked like spring here, but the wind is still so cold. Our first cruise ship of the season arrived today and downtown was full of freezing Americans doing their best not to blow away.

hmm… it was a few weeks ago and I’m not quite sure where I ran into it. Generally it was the same as all the other EZ discussions… rabid fans, (which, of course, I agree with!) and a bunch of dissenters saying that they think she’s condesceding (huh???), that they hate garter stitch, that her patterns look dated, that the bsj is ugly, and then, more rabid fans correcting and admonishing. I think somebody was upset that she called herself “opinionated”, because… it’s wrong to have an opinion? Not last time I checked. Anyway, this discussion has played out many times since I’ve been on Ravelry, all with the same points of view expressed.
I’ll make sure I link next time!
